Sarah Toumani

Since I don’t like to share unfinished work nor full pieces on social media, I decided to share with you, some short videos of past works. The first video is the first minute of a piece I created for the Brooklyn Ballet Festival in 2018, the second video is a rehearsal footage of my performance for the Danone Nations Cup where I performed a ‘sword dance’ solo, and the last video is a video project in collaboration with my mother, who is also my coach and mentor in my artistic journey. I hope you will enjoy!

My name is Sarah Toumani. I am a french-algerian artist. I am a graduated student from the choreographic center James Carles in Toulouse (France), the Official School of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and from the commercial program at Peridance Capezio Center where I studied house, popping and hip-hop fundamentals. As a performer, I danced for Miri Ben Ari, Danone Nations Cup, Eric Checco, James Carles, Oli speers, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Heidi Latsky Dance Company, Abron Arts Series, and more.
