Janna A. Zinzi became jazabel jade after studying “goddess burlesque” with Howlin’ Vic (Victoria Libertore) in 2010.  Further studies include New York School of Burlesque and the Brown Girls Burlesque “Broad Squad Institute.”   Zinzi is currently a troupe member of Brown Girls Burlesque and has performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, in Miami, and various venues in New York City. Zinzi began studying dance at the age of three, learning tap, ballet, jazz and acrobatics.  As a freshman at the University of Delaware, she joined the Dark Arts Performing Dance Company and remained a core member for four years. There she learned and choreographed West African, hip-hop, modern, jazz and Latin styles, and performed with the troupe throughout the northeast. Upon returning to New York City after graduate school, Zinzi studied Haitian and Congolese, dancing for a year with the FUSHA Congolese Dance Company.
