Karol Tyminski

Karol Tyminski is a Warsaw, Poland based dancer/ choreographer, member of Universal Law of Impermanence dance collective (U/LOI). He graduated from Performing Arts Research and Training Studios (P.A.R.T.S.) in Brussels, Belgium and Warsaw Ballet School. Tyminski performed in works created by various artists, including Nigel Charnock, Liat Magnezy, Jennifer Lacy, Kaya Kolodziejczyk, Agneja Seiko, and Joe Alter. He also collaborated with Vincent Dunoyer. While being in New York City he had a chance to become an understudy for Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company.  During his career Tyminski has performed in New York City, San Diego, United Kingdom, Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Holland, Germany, Belgium and others.  Tyminski has created his own dance pieces presented in various venues in Poland and abroad (ex. Orlando, 4:04, Crete for C). His new creation Doll House is soon to be premiered at the 10th C/U International Dance Festival in Warsaw.  Tyminski has been awarded The European Committee Scholarship, The President’s of The Radom City Fund, Solo Project Residency and Alternative Academy Scholarship.
