Earthdance, Plainfield, MA
Earthdance is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Plainfield, Massachusetts. There are two sunny studio spaces; the “Umbrella Barn” is a 1600 sq ft space in the round with a sprung maple floor and windows on all sides with a glimpse of an apple orchard and meadow of soft grasses; the “Dance Barn” is a large (24′ x 48′) studio equipped with a piano, sound equipment, a sprung maple floor, and a wall of windows. The main house is a rustic and renovated farmhouse. There are lots of nooks and crannies with a comfortable living room and closed in porch for gathering or just cozying up with a good book. The all-vegetarian kitchen is the heart of the house, where a long wooden table attracts dynamic conversation. Earthdance features an outdoor sauna and a small pond, and a nearby lake for swimming.
