About LiftOff Workshops:
LiftOff Workshops strive to create a safe and intimate space to receive feedback that supports the artist’s aesthetics and explore resources to enable project development. The workshop encourages dance and performance that explores cross over disciplines such as spoken word, visual art, video and sound manipulation. The group has a limited number of participants in order to allow for short and longer works to be shared and to promote dialogue. During the workshop three guests from the “industry” are invited to participate in the feedback process including choreographers, performance artists, composers, lighting designers, visual artists and presenters.
