Join us tonight for the opening of Performance Mix Festival: 35!
Thursday, June 10th!
Program A | 7:00 PM
LAND Project
LAND Project will connect remotely to construct a shared space using João Fiadeiro real-time composition practice. Lisa Parra will be live in New York, while Daniel Pinheiro will be projected from Porto and live streamed using LiveLab. The actions that take place between us will be a hybrid of virtual and live real time performance where the courtyard studio space will be transformed by the invisible and visible presence of the other to create a togetherness stream of consciousness. non-binary pussy is a revolutionary concert, fusing pope pop entertainment and political propaganda to produce an immersive experience and, ideally, a collective transformation. Learn more about Anh Vo.

Support the Festival
“I am so grateful for the nourishment and encouragement I have received from Karen (Bernard). She was the first artist and mentor figure that supported what I did in an impactful way and it was very vital for my growth as an artist.”
—Maki Marinoue, Past Performance Mix Artist
Like Maki, you know how important our programming can be to support artistic growth. And now we need your support. Funds raised right now through our Kickstarter campaign provide generous artist fees to festival participants and help us offer free studio space, and tech equipment to produce the Performance Mix, and continue our other necessary artist programming.
Please consider giving to our Kickstarter Campaign – any amount helps – even $10. If everyone donated $10, we would easily meet our goal!
“It was a pleasure and an honor to be part of Performance Mix Festivals #31 (Infinite Corridor) and #36 (Meeting the Moai: Head Over Heels.) In both instances, the artists were made to feel welcomed and truly celebrated for their work, as reflected by attention to publicity, technical needs, and convivial gatherings. This festival truly practices diversity, equity, and inclusion, as manifested in their roster of performing artists each year. Big thanks to New Dance Alliance, Karen Bernard, and the entire Performance Mix Festival team who make it such a fulfilling and joyful experience for artists and audiences alike.”
