Andi Stover

Andi is a writer, director and dramaturg. She is currently working as a dramaturg for choreographer Karen Bernard on her upcoming piece, Showgirls, and a collaboration with choreographer Johanna Meyer, Erasing Monika, for La MaMa E.T.C. set to open in the spring 2019. As writer/director for LiveFeedNYC she has various credits such as: Places, an in-ear journey via headphones through Brooklyn’s subways and streets, Noodles Astray, a puppet satire of gentrification (La Mama E.T.C.) Julie S. Caesar and The Housewives of Trevi, a mash-up adaptation of Shakespeare and reality television’s Real Housewives, (Ace Hotel); Black Eye Fixer, an immersive rock n roll performance (Glasslands Gallery and Club Midway.) As a dramaturg, she has worked with playwrights Sibyl Kempson, Yasmine Lever, Charles McNulty and choreographer Johanna Meyer. Andi is the Literary Manager for Montclair State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance where she teaches Dramaturgy and Play Script Interpretation in the graduate and undergraduate programs. A frequent contributor to the Brooklyn Rail, she is a graduate of Brooklyn College (MFA) and Yale University (BA).
