Carly Czach has been practicing and performing dance for more than two decades. She has been privileged to train and work with countless gifted artists in the field, including Tim O’Donnell and Rebeca Medina, presenting her work and performing in New York City, Chicago, and abroad. Her research utilizes dance making, improvisation, somatic practice, vocalization, and visual art making to rediscover and facilitate inquiry around what it means to be alive. She has taught Contemporary Dance and Contact Improvisation classes in New York at 100 Grand Street and Greenspace Studio, as a guest teacher at Columbia College Chicago, and practices CI in every possible moment. Czach holds a BFA in dance making from Columbia College Chicago, and lives in Brooklyn. She is delighted to perform in NDA’s 30th anniversary.
