Mister White is a producer, DJ, and Club Mate fan from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Mister White loves vinyl, MIDI controllers, and advocates for the Pleasure Principle. In addition to holding down residencies and spinning guest sets in NYC at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Lot 45, Kinfolk, Apotheke, No. 8, Haus, Hotel Americano, and the Lincoln Center Mister White is capable behind the boards. He’s knocking out remixes, original beats, and mash-ups consistently.

A member of the Feel Up Records Sound System, Mister White recently opened the Chicken & Beer Tour 2015 in NYC for Jillionaire, Bunji Garlin, and others. His talent has been recognized by the apparel brands such as Victorinox and French Connection gaining him a recurring spot NYC fashion week functions. As Mister White continues to grow his production repertoire, he works alongside collaborators that include Lord Plawz, All Dom Wrong, and Richie Beretta. Since my friend, Chivas Sandage brought me to New Dance Alliance to rehearse in early 90’s, the place has become a part of my creative life. The long time existence of the studio and Performance Mix Festival are vital to the artists who seek and explore deep into their process. Whenever I step into the studio, it’s a new space with a lot of memories. I lie down on the floor, listen to my body, and I dance. It is valuable. The time in the space nurtures my practice and artistic vision. Karen’s vision of Lift-Off residency, feedback sessions, providing peer to peer connections are more significant than ever. It has been helping us to get through 2020 and we are going into 2021.”
