getaway:

“getaway is a 15-minute duet that uses absurd dialogue, intimate partnering, and washes of nuanced unison to investigate ambiguity as a form. We strive to disarm the conditions of perception as we allow inner manifestations of desire and gender play to emerge. Throughout the structure of this work our identities remain vague and unclear, leaving the viewer to draw their own conclusions as we sift through the humiliation, queerness, and fantasy of our undefined relationship. Our figures orbit each other in a period of kaleidoscopic patterns before delving into awkward yet demanding partnering sections and blurred text. By the end of the piece we have become literally entwined together- our bodies writhing into something gelatinous and unnamable.”

Other Works:

Our process of collaboration feels like a ceaseless and dizzying loop, with each original work spilling over into the course of creating the next. Our research transforms as we continuously reframe our inquiries and embed them within new layers of character play, abstracted narratives, and bad pop music.
