Rebecca Patek and Connor Voss

Rebecca has created over twenty original performances. She was an Artist in Residence at Movement Research, Atlantic Center for the Arts and New York Live Arts(Fresh Tracks). Work was presented at MoMa PS1, The Kitchen, Impulstanz Vienna (Prix Jardin D’Europe Fan Award 2014), Museum of Arts and Design, Chocolate Factory Theater, Abrons Art Center, Dance Theater Workshop, MR at Judson Church, BAX, Triple Canopy, Prelude Festival, Performance Mix Festival, and Dixon Place

Connor Voss danced in work with RoseAnne Spradlin, Kota Yamazaki, Heather Kravas, Juliana May, Mina Nishimura, Neil Greenberg, Miguel Gutierrez and was nominated for two New York Dance and Performance “Bessie” Awards. His choreography was presented by CPR, MR, Open Look Festival, Gibney, Cathy Weis.

Rebecca Patek and Connor Voss’s performance will explore the meeting point of matter and spirit within the human mind/body. They write: “Dance as the most useless and therefore highest form of all the arts is uniquely positioned to be the medium for discovery.”
