The 30th Anniversary Performance Mix Festival opens on Monday, June 6th with performances by LAVA, Clarinda Mac Low with Carolyn Hall, Yasuko Yokoshi, and Michael Helland. After the 8PM performance, join us for an opening reception!
Thursday, June 9th from 10:30AM-12:30PM, experience a festival tradition with Breakfast Mix! Observe and/or converse with “edgy” artists on how Canadian and American economic/political contexts influence creative practices and production, as you assess who makes the best bagel: Montreal or New York? And just added: a contortionist performance by Dany D. and Andréane L. to accompany the discussion. After Saturday, June 11th‘s Three Genres of Improvisation curated performance, join us for a closing night party. It’ll be a multidisciplinary jam celebrating the conclusion of the 2016 festival. Food, drinks, and dancing! Everyone is welcome!
