In Make-a-dance, Clarinda Mac Low and Carolyn Hall create a participatory algorithm for dancemaking. They supply the parts, the audience supplies the sequence and timing, and the resulting dance surprises everybody.

RECESS: the Ritual Experience Concept Event Spa Show is a site-responsive installation and situation for performance, offering a restorative and contemplative time away from the outside world. This special edition of the Dance of Light ceremonial hour is centered upon a minimalist serpentine dance, a live sculpture where mind and body meet in a feat of mutual concentration, seeking to help sharpen and re-enchant our centers of perception.

Stick around for an opening reception after this performance!

And check out the rest of the festival

Performances every evening through Saturday, June 11th, plus special events!
