Applications now open: LiftOff Residency

Deadline: Friday, September 15th

The LiftOff Residency takes place at NDA’s Studio in TriBeCa and provides three New York City physical-based performance artists with a minimum of 36 hours of rehearsal space each, a $500 stipend, an introductory meeting, and two feedback sessions.

Applicant Guidelines

• For solo artists, or groups with up to 4 artists
• Studio hours are offered Monday through Friday from 10 am –6 pm
• Fall/ Winter artists can book from November 2023 – January 2024
• Spring artists can book from March 2024 – May 2024
• Studio Regulations:
  • No live or loud music
  • No dancing with shoes unless approved
  • Props must be approved in advance
  • No more than four participants per artist/company
  • Artists must be fully vaccinated

Feedback Sessions

This residency is for artists looking to join a small cohort of artists to share and give feedback on each other’s work. Feedback sessions are designed to share about creative process, project development, and participate in a community exchange. They are a space to present live work you are creating during the residency. Discussions regarding process, development, and production are also encouraged.
