NDA is accepting applications for the 2026/27 LiftOff Residency cohort!
The LiftOff Residency takes place at NDA’s Studio in Tribeca and provides six physical-based performance artists with 30 hours of rehearsal space each, an introductory meeting, and two feedback sessions. This residency is for artists looking to join a small cohort of artists to share and give feedback on each other’s work.
You must be a New York City based artist in order to apply.
Past LiftOff residents are eligible to apply after two years of their program participation. The residency is only available for solo artists, or groups with up to 4 artists.
The reviewing panel will select two cohorts:
Fall/Winter (October to December) and Winter/Spring (February to April).
The residency offers a $500 stipend.
The application is available starting July 15th and must be submitted by August 14th, 2026 at 11:59pm. No late entries will be accepted.
LiftOff is a special artistic development opportunity for NYC-based performance artists. We can’t wait to review your application!

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for our Satellite program!
Satellite artists have access to the studio at the NDA Loft in Tribeca. Artists must book a minimum of 8 hours, and up to 100 hours of studio space, contingent upon studio availability. There is a suggested donation of $5/hr.
