Apply for LiftOff Creative & Project Development Residency 2016:
Deadline June 1st

New Dance Alliance is seeking three experimental dance and multi-disciplined performance artists for a residency exchange as part of LiftOff Creative and Project Development Residency to take place during the months of July and August 2016. Priority will be given to artists who have had their work presented and who value a group feedback process. A minimum of 40 hours of rehearsal space will be awarded, as well as guided feedback sessions facilitated by Michael Freeman.
Notification of acceptance will be June 13th. Participants must be able to attend a mandatory orientation meeting on Tuesday June 21st at 6:30 PM.

Opening Reception
The 30th Anniversary Performance Mix Festival opens on Monday, June 6th with performances by LAVA, Clarinda Mac Low with Carolyn Hall, Yasuko Yokoshi, and Michael Helland. After the 8PM performance, join us for an opening reception!
Breakfast Mix: An Edgy Long Table
Thursday, June 9th from 10:30AM-12:30PM, experience a festival tradition with Breakfast Mix! Observe and/or converse with “edgy” artists on how Canadian and American economic/political contexts influence creative practices and production, as you assess who makes the best bagel: Montreal or New York? And just added: a contortionist performance by Dany D. and Andréane L. to accompany the discussion.
